Dev Meher blends storytelling with strategy — from National Award-nominated films and global festival wins to backing 50+ startups across tech, fashion, entertainment, and aerospace. An FTII and IIT Bombay alumnus, his work has been featured by global platforms including the UN’s IUCN.
Currently leading Auromira Entertainment and producing a ZEE-backed feature film (Nov 2025), Dev continues to shape ideas that inspire, entertain, and empower.
I have always believed that creativity and strategy don’t have to live in separate worlds. As a filmmaker and entrepreneur, I have made it my mission to blend the two — crafting stories that resonate and building ventures that redefine what’s possible.
From National Award nominations to global recognition at festivals like Cannes Shorts, London Film Awards, and the Global Indian Film Festival, storytelling has taken me places I once only imagined. One of my proudest moments remains being the only Indian filmmaker featured by the UN’s IUCN — for a music video on environmental awareness that’s close to my heart.
But my journey isn’t just on screen. As the Managing Director of Auromira Entertainment, I’ve had the privilege of backing and building over 100 startups across tech, fashion, entertainment, and aerospace. I am especially proud of the homegrown ventures we’ve nurtured in Odisha — like Odesi, Eyemira, Fresh Box Office, and BonV. I truly believe big impact begins at the grassroots.
With a background in Direction from FTII Pune and a foundation in innovation from IIT Bombay, I’ve always tried to bridge the worlds of cinema and commerce. And the journey is far from over — my latest ZEE-backed feature film is set for release in November 2025.
